Collaborative Practice: Thuilot + S/U/M

A ten-year dialogue between landscape and fabrication.

Over nearly a decade of projects, S/U/M and Thuilot Associates have developed a working rhythm that moves between fabrication, prototyping, and collaborative design development. At times, our role is to execute with precision; at others, we integrate directly into Thuilot’s office workflow—sharing models, drawings, and schedules to align with project milestones. Our embedded approach extends beyond design: we coordinate with consultants, clients, and general contractors to ensure that the fidelity of the design carries through to every stakeholder and phase of construction. The result is a partnership that operates as one continuous field—where design intent and material execution evolve together.
