process negotiation

Developed with Walker & Moody Architects, an artist–collector client, and fabricator Kreysler & Associates.

Our role began during a series of live sculptural sessions, as the client modeled spatial ideas through gesture and conversation. We translated these improvised forms into digital structure—geometry stable enough to guide design development and composite fabrication.

As the project advanced, our focus shifted to the field. We produced 1:1 templates that allowed foundation and framing trades to locate non-orthogonal geometries with precision, ensuring alignment between the composite shells and their supporting structures.

In parallel, we fabricated key structural components and building-envelope assemblies, bridging the gap between digital model and physical construction. Between studio, factory, and site, our work operated as a continuous negotiation of form, accuracy, and buildability.
